this makes me really happy but also really sad because S2 of Defiance and S5 of Warehouse will be filming at the same time and I’d rather have Jaime as HG in a couple of eps of Warehouse than have her as Stahma in EVERY ep of Defiance, because after S5….

Is it really filming at the same time? I read a few weeks ago that if Warehouse would have a fifth season, it wouldn’t film at the same time as Defiance for this reason. I’m pretty sure that was an official statement. They said that one of the shows would film in the summer and one would film in the autumn.

From what I understand, Warehouse 13 films from June 24 - August 30 and Defiance starts filming in August, so there might be some overlap but not much.

Jack Kenny said the following on twitter to me last night in regards to filming “nope. almost simultaneous.” but this is not the first time I’ve heard Warehouse starting to film next month and Defiance starting to shoot in August. Jaime did say that she had weeks during last season’s Defiance shooting, where she did both Defiance and Warehouse in the same week. I really hope they manage to work HG into the last 6 episodes and make Myka/HG totally cannon and give them a *good* and *positive* (with both characters alive and happy, in a relationship with each other) resolution.

Had to emphasis the phrase clearly indicating how traumatized this fandom has been over this show’s angst habits…we now have to literally qualify the entire concept of “Happy Ending”.

Myka knew from the moment she received her assignment there would be trouble. She was walking a knife’s edge, day after day, just trying to survive and get Sam back. And now she was about to be thrown into a situation that was the equivalent of a room full of dynamite, with an Agent that was a bomb ready to go off at any moment, never mind a match. 

Bering had heard the rumors of course. Everyone in the Service knew Wells’ reputation. 

But that first night on the train…Myka learned the hard way that the rumors hadn’t done her justice. Not the quick wit nor the soft, velvet voice. Not the slashing cheekbones nor the sensuous mouth. And least of all the eyes. Oh the rumors hadn’t said nearly enough about H.G. Wells’ eyes. A brown so rich it was nearly black, and the way she looked at you…like you were the only other thing worth looking at in the entire universe…

Myka had to work harder to keep her guard up that night than she had ever worked in her entire life. 

The accountant had a much greater sympathy for all those “play things” Wells had supposedly seduced and discarded (male and female, she apparently wasn’t particularly picky as long as they were good looking and had stamina…rumor said). 

But Myka was a professional. And she had far more at stake in this game than mere money, hers or her government’s. 

So she kept her defenses firmly in place, her tongue sharpened and demeanor cool. 

She kept her distance. 

But as she turned and walked away from Wells on the train that night, her heart was a half-second behind her and Myka Bering already knew…

She was in trouble. 

All kinds of win.
