Scarily, I think I know why you sent me this.

So, in point of fact, Emma IS a virgin.  Whether the hymen breaks, tears, stretches - etc, is really NOT a relevant point to the story and was never GOING to be one.  For most women, it is thought the hymen tears - why? 

Because it almost ALWAYS does.  Because every woman is different, every hymen is different.  Sometimes it covers more of the vaginal opening than in other women, and in those cases the “breaking” (i.e. tearing) can be a little painful because it does tear even if you take care.  The only way it would not in THOSE circumstances is if you take a LONNNNNG TIME (and I don’t mean one night) of purposefully trying to stretch it out - and I can say, from personal experience… THAT FREAKING HURTS MORE THAN JUST LETTING IT TEAR.  Because after that tear (which just feels like a single sharp pinch that’s less painful than stubbing a toe), despite the eventual healing, you NEVER have that same level of difficulty again.

So, yes, the hymen for Emma is real.
